  • Adhere to Scope and Schedule – Inform Project Manager immediately if there are changes

  • Arrive on Time – On Time is 5 minutes early

  • Adhere to Top Guns Customer Engagement Strategy
      • Call customer 30 min / 1-hour prior to arrival

      • Inform customer of your departure (for break, lunch, end of the day)

      • Inform customer upon your return

      • Clean-up before departure

  • Appearance and Behavior (Customer Perception Matters)
        • Have at least one person on location fluent in English

        • Present a well-groomed appearance and wear appropriate work attire (no ripped, torn clothing, no offensive/suggestive t-shirts, correct size of clothing or belt to prevent sagging and free of unpleasant odor)

        • Conduct yourself in a courteous and professional manner

        • Be free of alcohol, firearms and tobacco; no use on property

        • No offensive language

        • Do not enter home when only minors are present

        • Wear Top Gun Subcontractor ID Badge

        • No pets or children under the age of 18 on job sites

  • Do Quality Work

  • Be Safe – comply with applicable safety rules and regulations; wear appropriate safety gear

  • Be Transparent – present clear, open, and honest communication

Subcontractor Requirements

Subcontractors have employees and are responsible for their employees at all times. If you have others working for you, you must carry Workers Compensation Insurance. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at (719) 572-5130. Below are our minimum requirements to work for us as a subcontractor.

  • Signed IC/Subcontractor Agreement

  • Insurance

    • General Liability – minimum of 1,000,000 per occurrence and 2,000,000 aggregate coverage

    • Vehicle Liability Insurance – minimum of 500,000 in coverage

    • Workers Compensation (MUST HAVE, no exceptions)

  • Background Affidavit

  • W9 Form

  • Agree to our IC/Subcontractor Code of Conduct

Independent Contractor (IC) Requirements

Although very similar, there is a difference between an Independent Contractor and a subcontractor. Independent Contractors do not have employees or someone else working for them. They are a one person entity who is hired to do a set of tasks based on certain terms within a contract. If you have someone else working for you, then you are considered to be a subcontractor and must obtain Workers Compensation. Application Process

  1. Determine if you meet our criteria

  2. Contact our office for a IC/Subcontractor; Call (719) 572-5130 or email us at info@topgun-inc.com

  3. Complete IC/Subcontractor Packet and return to our office

  4. Have your insurance provider send us a Certificate of Insurance (COI) outlining your coverage

  5. Once reviewed and approved, our office will contact you with opportunities

What we need before you receive work

  • Subcontractor Information Sheet completed

  • Contract Agreement Signed

  • Subcontractor Code of Conduct Signed

  • Qualification Form (List of past 10 jobs with references)

  • W9 Request for Taxpayer ID Number and Certificate

  • Workers Compensation Certificate of Insurance (COI) or Declaration of Independent Contractor Status Form (Notarized)
